2018 sees Australian Eyewear brand Pared Eyewear team up with Australian musical duo, Client Liaison to release two frames in six colours on the runway at MBFWA. Client Liaison have become iconic for enhancing their music with their inherent sense of style through custom designed costumes for their electric live shows and an ongoing commitment to their eclectic daywear wardrobe. Co-CEO’s Harvey Miller AO and Monte Morgan have turned up the treble to envisage and design the Client Liaison Deluxe Line (CLDL), a full-service fashion collection including Menswear, Womenswear and Accessories.
The duo worked with Creative Director Sam Stevenson on frames to compliment their Designer Line collection which features a bright colour palette of honeycomb, cobalt blue, bold green and terracotta. These colourways were laid across two frames in solid acetate to create a 3D effect with colour lamination combinations on each frame. Striped arms and panels of solid colour feature across the frames as well as a number of lens combinations. Accessorised with large scale tonal chain link lanyards, the frames are a bold nod to the eighties.
