Sammy's Bali Edit
Every year our family stays in Nusa Dua for a week which is amazing for our two young boys and my husband and I to get away and reset. It’s quiet and relaxed and perfect to really relax. We venture out for day trips to Seminyak, Uluwatu and Canggu as we have so many favourite restaurants from our time living in Bali.
EXPLORE
The Sound healing was incredible at Potato Head in Seminyak. Bike riding and market shopping along the paved pathway at Nusa Dua. Waterbom (with or without kids) is a great waterslide park in Kuta. For pampering I like Spring spa in Seminyak or Amo spa in Canggu. Jimabarin bay for sunset and seafood dinner (we like Ganesha) is something i do every trip.
SHOP
In CANGGU I love the quality of men and womens linen at Mrs Lovejoy I also hunt around the markets for brass treasures such as palm tree trinket plates and candle holders. In SEMINYAK My cup of love has really sweet jewellery and trinkets to take home as gifts. For homewares try Kim Soo Mercredi or Carga.
DINE
In NUSA DUA Ikan at the Westin for delicious seafood in traditional Indonesian flavours. The Melia cafe for casual mexican tacos. For something really special, Kayu Puti at the St Regis for brunch.
In SEMINYAK we love Shelter for lunch or a snacks with great coffee. Tanaman at Potato Head is gorgeous interiors, Sea circus is an old favourite and I love the quotes they serve with each coffee. Biku - get the high tea, either traditional or the Asian variety and play scrabble while you eat. Mamasan get all the dumplings!
In CANGGU Yuki is just delicious Japanese and I always go to Lacalita for Mexican. Get a spicy margarita and the fundido. Mason is another favourite.
